·        2006 Schedule; remaining regattas

Focus-On-4: Peter Cusick talked about the Focus-on-4 participation up to this point and the hopes that people will continue to follow through on their commitments.

Ned Hay: Jay O’Malley spoke to what is planned for the Ned Hay.

Master’s at Milford YC: John Lombard, Mid-Conn regatta chairman, gave an overview of the activities planned for the Master’s.

Bedford Pitcher: Thorny Cook mentioned that the ham will be on the table.

Nutmeg: Lombard said “the usual”.

 

·        2007 Schedule

Future District’s schedule: no significant changes to the schedule of events for the coming year, with the exception that if the Bedford Pitcher is the Tri-District Qualifier regatta then maybe a different date will have to be found so as not to conflict with events taking place on the same weekend in the 2nd and 12th Districts.

2007 District’s at Narragansett Bay: no information about the event because there were no representatives from the fleet at the meeting. The contingency of CLIS holding the event should NB not be able to hold it was mentioned.

2007 Master’s: to be held at Boston. Date to be announced

Tri-District Series: Bedford Pitcher is designated as the Tri-District Qualifier.

Focus-on-4 Regattas: The Ned Hay and the Bedford Pitcher will remain as Focus-On-4 regattas. The Nutmegs will replace the Arms-White. For Boston the regatta to be chosen will be discussed by the BH members.

Marblehead NOOD: Possibly making this a 3 day event this coming year.

 

·        Review of District Finances: $2,662.08 with bills for etching plaques still outstanding.

·        Review of District Trophy maintenance: Reminder to keep the trophies up-dated.

·        Meeting adjourned.
